About AgeWise

Useful date tools, made refreshingly clear

We turn calendar math into practical answers while keeping your dates private and your experience simple.

Our purpose

Help people understand the time between meaningful dates

AgeWise began with a straightforward idea: an age calculator should provide more than a rounded number. It should explain completed years, months, and days using real calendar rules, then present the result in language anyone can understand.

Our tools run in the browser and do not require accounts. We focus on useful design, careful date handling, accessible controls, and transparent explanations of what each result means.

What guides us

Built around four practical promises

01

Clarity

Plain language, clean layouts, and results that are easy to interpret.

02

Accuracy

Calendar-aware calculations that respect month length and leap years.

03

Privacy

Date entries stay in your browser and are not added to an AgeWise profile.

04

Accessibility

Keyboard-friendly controls, visible focus states, and readable contrast.

Our calculation approach

Calendar arithmetic, not rough division

AgeWise finds completed calendar years first, completed months second, and remaining days last. This avoids treating every month as if it had the same length. Lifetime totals are then derived from whole elapsed days, with a clear note explaining that a time of birth is not included.

  • February 29 support
  • Past-date comparisons
  • Transparent time-total notes
  • No account required
